Civil Litigation Legal Assistant
The business litigation department of Morgan & Morgan P.A. is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant for our Miami office.
Morgan & Morgan is the largest Plaintiff's firm in the country with over 30 years of experience, more than 350 lawyers, and a support staff of over 2,000 employees.
4 years of experience as a legal assistant for a litigation firm is required. Experience does not have to be in business litigation.
Job assignments include:
- Filing in state and federal court.
- Calendaring depositions, mediations, hearings, court deadlines, etc.
- Drafting correspondence.
- Communications with clients, court, counsel, and others.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.
Must possess very good communication skills.
Must posses strong organizational skills and be highly detail oriented.
Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and have a great attitude and minimal supervision.
Must take pride in his/her work, and aspire to grow with a large reputable law firm.
